Welcome to ZFS on OS X

What is ZFS?

ZFS is a new kind of filesystem developed by Sun Microsystems that provides simple administration, transactional semantics, end-to-end data integrity, and immense scalability. Now, thanks to ZFS on Open Solaris, we have ported ZFS to the Mac OS X platform. For the complete story go to the What Is ZFS page.
