Future Hazy (fortune fails to upgrade)

When fortune is upgraded to 6.2.0-RELEASE it fails to work. Specifically, running fortune produces either no output or a single fortune,

Running fortune with the -D option produces the following:

$fortune -D
adding file "/opt/local/share/games/fortune/fortunes"

summing probabilities:0% with 1 NO_PROB's

Sorry, I don't know how to upgrade fortune datfiles between FreeBSD 4.2 and 6.2...

Does it work OK with a new install/datfile, rather than upgrading an older one ?
